Perhaps the foreboding clouds and crashing waves threatening this tattered ship are a reminder of the similarly perilous journey our young girl took to America. The will to face your fears shown on her face can also be felt as this ship strives to find a safe haven.

Delicate , enticing Icelandic Poppies mingle with pussy willows that are both painted, shadowed and carved with silk, then finally etched in gold. Front and back range from traditional, pastel painting to rich, dramatic renderings in chocolate brown. Hmmmm , "chocolate covered poppies"...... surprised I thought of it before Godiva did!!But Celee's Godiva gold is definitely the secret ingredient! (Who else but a self-confessed chocoholic would call her gold "Godiva?")
